Choice of Seats

Worcester Cathedral provides a glorious setting for Festival performances, but it is not a concert hall. Sound is generally good, but vision is restricted in some areas. Closed-Circuit TV is provided in these areas.

Disabled Visitors

Our philosophy is to make everything accessible to all our audience and to this effect we welcome disabled visitors to the Festival and will be happy to help with special needs. A separate fact sheet is available on request from the Festival Administrator giving details of access to all venues. The Cathedral has the added facility of an audio loop for services only.

A limited number of car parking spaces will be available for disabled drivers. Please ensure that you contact the Festival Administrator on 01905 616200 for a car parking permit, and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Coach Transport

Coach transport is available to the following venues and should be purchased with your concert tickets:

Pershore Abbey, Tewkesbury Abbey, Gt Witley Church, Elgar Birthplace, Baptist Church.

Coaches will depart from King Street, Worcester (opposite the Royal Worcester Factory). Full details and coach passes will be issued with your tickets.

Day Room

Relax between concerts in the Day Room on the opposite side of College Green from the Cathedral. We are proud to announce than an exhibition of University of Worcester Artwork will be displayed there this year for the first time. We are most grateful to the King's School and the Common Room Association for allowing us to use the room.
