Although
still in his early twenties, Yossif Ivanov has already amassed a
striking list of musical awards and concert appearances. He is an
award-winner of numerous competitions including the Menuhin
International Competition, Montreal International Music Competition,
Queen Elizabeth Competition, Midem Classical Outstanding Young Artist
award and ECHO Rising Star.
His impressive list of concert performances include recitals in
Carnegie Hall, Musikverein Vienna, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Palais des
Beaux-Arts, Cité de la Musique as well as Symphony Hall Birmingham. He
also performs internationally with orchestra and his ever-increasing
list of concerto appearances includes a London orchestral debut with
the London Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Marin Alsop in
April 2007. A re-invitation is planned for 2008.
In November 2006 his first CD on the Ambroisie/Naïve label was awarded a Diapason d'Or de l'Année, the most important recording industry award in France, presented to the best recordings of the year.

Roberto Giordano was born in Tropea, Italy, in 1981. From his earliest
years, Roberto Giordano won prizes in many international competitions,
both in Italy and abroad. In 2003 his Fourth Prize in the Queen
Elisabeth International Competition in Brussels brought him to the
attention of international music critics and helped to project him onto
some of the best-known concert platforms in the world. He is a regular
guest in venues such as Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Palais Des Beaux
Arts in Brussels, Hermitage Theater in St.Petersburg, Minato Mirai Hall
in Yokohama, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Konzerthaus
in Berlin, Philharmonia Concert Hall in Wrocław -Poland, Stadt Oper in
Frankfurt and the Imperial Mint of Istambul amongst others.
He has also been a soloist with important orchestras such as the
Belgium National Orchestra, Orchestre Philarmonique de Liège, State
Hermitage Orchestra of Saint-Petersburg, Romanian State Orchestra,
Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, Jonge Filarmonie van Vlaanderen,
Orchestra di Padova e Veneto, Bucarest Philarmonic Orchestra, Aachen
Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano.
Giordano has published three CD's, the last one for the Italian label
"La Bottega Discantica". His concerts have been recorded and
subsequently broadcast by RTBF and Klara (Belgium), as well as in Italy
by RAI (Radiouno/Radiotre) and by the Vatican Radio.
