If you can perform the Messiah in March, you can perform all 6 parts of Bach's Christmas Oratorio in August! The Academy of Ancient Music, one of the world's first and foremost period-instrument orchestras will be performing with the three Cathedral Choirs. There will be a 75 minute dinner interval.

Founded in 1988, OPUS ANGLICANUM have given chant experience days for cathedrals choirs, for RSCM and others, and have performed at major music festivals. This is your opportunity to spend the day learning to chant alongside a highly professional vocal group, culminating in a vespers recitation in Worcester Cathedral itself.

Coffee & an introduction to the Museum are followed by a performance by Trio Capriccio, a wind trio from the Birmingham Conservatoire. The morning concludes with a tour of the Birthplace cottage. Due to a lack of parking at the Birthplace, we ask that all ticket purchasers travel on the coach from Worcester.
