Major Sir Michael Parker, KCVO, CBE

Sir Michael is a designer and producer of major events both in this country and around the world. Among the many major national events that he has originated and run are The Queen's Bonfire for the 1977 Silver Jubilee Celebrations, "The Great Event" of The Queen's accession to the Throne 1992, 40th Anniversary, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother's 90th and 100th Birthday Celebrations, the 1995 VE Day Commemorative Events in Hyde Park & the Mall and The Final Tribute for VJ Day on Horse Guards. He has produced the Royal Tournament, the Edinburgh Military
Tattoo, the Berlin Tattoo and the Wembley Musical Pageant.
