Adrian Partington regaled us during the Festival Society lunch with his memories of 40 years of Three Choirs Festivals, from his pranks as a 10 year old chorister in 1969 and his discovery of the joys of the choral repertoire, to his tenure as assistant organist in Worcester. Following 18 years 'out' of the Cathedral music sector, he returned to the fold this year and we hope the Festival will gain hugely from his wide experiences across the concert sector.
