Dorothea Harris, credit Benjamin LindleyDorothea Harris is currently Senior Organ Scholar at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, where she is reading Music.

She was educated as a Music Scholar at Fettes College, where she was also Organ Scholar for three years. This was followed by spending a year as Organ Scholar of Ripon Cathedral, where she accompanied weekly services as well as playing frequent recitals at both the Cathedral and in the surrounding area.

Recent recitals have included St John’s College, Oxford, and St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh.

Dorothea studies with Katharine Pardee, and in addition to receiving occasional lessons from Stephen Farr and Kevin Bowyer, has taken part in masterclasses with Gillian Weir, Pieter van Dijk and Nigel Allcoat.

Dorothea is a keen singer, and has toured the USA and Canada with St Giles’ Cathedral Choir. She is also a member of Schola Cantorum of Oxford, the University's leading chamber choir, and the Rodolfus Choir. Earlier this year she took part in a solo masterclass with the soprano Emma Kirkby.
