Eluned Pierce

Eluned Pierce is one of the United Kingdom's most experienced and versatile professional harpists with an international reputation as both a player and high level teacher.

She gained a Foundation Scholarship to the Royal College of Music, London where she studied with Marisa Robles. She is now Principal Harp at the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and she frequently performs as a soloist and a Principal Guest of many other leading orchestras in the UK and abroad.

Her career has taken her to the four corners of the globe and she has performed at such famous venues as Carnegie Hall, Covent Garden, The Royal Albert Hall, The MusikVerein, ConcertGebouw, The Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff and most of the world’s other major concert venues.

Eluned performs on a regular basis with specially created orchestras for television and radio as well as live events such as the Royal Variety Performance. Eluned is regularly invited to support such stars and celebrities as Dame Shirley Bassey, Will Young, Katherine Jenkins, Bryn Terfel and Andrea Bocelli. One of her more unusual recent roles was in support of Lady Ga Ga at 2009 Royal Variety Performance.
