This vibrant concert will recreate the excitement, acoustic and atmosphere of St Mark's Basilica in Venice in the late 16th century/early 17th century with music by Andrea & Giovanni Gabrieli, Grillo and Monteverdi.

The programme will not only highlight the individual members of the cathedral choirs with numerous solo opportunities, but  demonstrate the lush polyphonic effects of the time and the newly emerging baroque style of the 17th century.
