Take your partners for Worcester Friends' barn dance

The Friends of Worcester Three Choirs Festival invite you to enjoy an old-fashioned barn dance at 7.30 pm on Saturday 8 October 2016, in the new Bartholomew Barn at King's Hawford Junior School, Claines, a few miles north of Worcester city centre.

Music will be provided by The Cat's Whiskers and beginners are welcome - just come along and have fun.

Please ensure that you don't wear high heels or footwear that could damage either you or the floor!

Opened in May this year, the barn is a multi-purpose sports and drama hall and is worth a visit in itself - it is the first of its kind in the UK to be based on 'biophilia', built on sustainable principles and responding to people's essential need to connect with nature. It is named after the King's School's retiring bursar, Galen Barthomolew, a stalwart supporter of the Three Choirs Festival.

Tickets £20

Light supper and drink on arrival included. There will be a pay bar for the rest of the evening and a raffle in aid of Worcester Three Choirs Festival 2017
