Parry Festival: Saint Cecilia Singers Chamber Concert

Saint Cecilia Singers

Holst: Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda

Bridge: Two part songs

Parry: Songs of Farewell

The Saint Cecilia Singers, Gloucester’s foremost chamber choir, are conducted by Jonathan Hope, Assistant Director of Music at Gloucester Cathedral, in a concert centred on Parry’s Songs of Farewell. Parry died soon after completing these, and they provide a moving testament to his life and musicianship. The concert will also include music by Parry’s pupils Gustav Holst and Frank Bridge.

This event can currently only be booked as part of the Parry Pass, which includes all events in the Parry Festival and offers an overall discount of 8%.  Parry Passes are limited and can be booked by telephone only on 01452 768928 from 12th July 2017, or in person at the Three Choirs Ticket Office in Worcester between 17th-29th July 2017.

Any remaining tickets for this event will be available to buy individually from 4th September 2017.
