Gloucester Choral Society are running a full day workshop on four settings of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis which will be performed Gloucester Cathedral on Saturday 25 February 2017. 

The settings being rehearsed are: 

Orlando Gibbons - 1583-1625  Short Service - Andrew Crookall Edition

George Dyson - 1883-1964 Service in D

Herbert Howells - 1892-1983 Gloucester Service

Kerensa Briggs - b1991 (New Commission)

Booklet

A bound colour booklet will be provided as a memento to all participants on the day of the workshop which will include the Gibbons and Briggs settings together with separately published versions of the Dyson and Howells settings. 

Price

£20.00 to include booklet and published music of Dyson and Howells settings.  Lunch of soup, a Roll, and fruit will be available in the Chapter House for a further £5.
