Speaker – Professor James Clark

Part of the Luther Anniversary Lectures and the Gloucester History Festival - City Voices

James Clark is Professor of History at the University of Exeter. He  has published widely on the history of England’s medieval monasteries and their fortunes at the Reformation and is a frequent media contributor on these themes. He was programme consultant for BBC TV’s Tudor Monastery Farm (2013). He is currently completing a major new study of the Dissolution of the Monasteries for Yale University Press. 

Refreshments and bookshop will be available before this lecture in the Cloisters from 5pm-8pm
