2/8/07 - RODOLFUS CHOIR CONCERT
The concert on Wednesday morning (8 August) by the Rodolfus choir will now take place in Cheltenham Town Hall rather than at Tewkesbury abbey, who are unable to accommodate us due to the recent flooding.
All ticket holders will be notified directly, and exisiting tickets will be valid.
28.7.07 - ALL ON TRACK
Preparations are continuing apace for this year's festival despite the problems there have been in the Gloucester area over the past week or so, and the Festival will go ahead.
All of the staging and seating in the Cathedral has been constructed, and orchestral rehearsals begin next week. We are making all possible contingency provisions to ensure that come next Saturday, the Festival will begin as planned.
It should be fun.
25/7/07 - FLOODING: UPDATE
Water levels have dropped in Gloucester over the past 24 hours, and access into the city is improving. Preparations continue for the Festival, including the delivery of flooring on Monday (which came the wrong way down several one way streets to get here), and the construction of staging and seating (the articulated lorries of kit have arrived for the past two days thanks to police escorts).
We hope to reopen the Ticket Office tomorrow in its public space in Wardle House.
All is still on track!
24.07.07 - FLOODING SOLUTION
Updates will continue to be posted on this page of our website over the next few days, and the ticket office will reopen when staff are available to man it.
