Worcester Cathedral WR1 2LA

Worcester Cathedral provides a glorious setting for festival performances, but it is not a concert hall. Sound is generally good, but vision is restricted in some areas and in most of these, TV relay is provided.

 

Zone A: Nave  
Flat and raked seating with unrestricted view. Please note that raked seating is only accessible via the central aisle staircase, and there is no handrail. 

Zone B: Front 2 rows of the nave, rear of the flat, side seats in the nave 
Partially restricted view due to proximity to the stage, the pulpit, and the nave pillars. 

Zone C: Side aisles  
Pillar restricted view with TV monitors. 

Zone D: Rear side aisles  
Very little or no direct view but TV monitors available. 

Zone E (unreserved seating): Quire, presbytery and quire aisles 
No direct view – there will be TV monitors in most areas but a direct view of a monitor is not guaranteed from all seats.

Other Cathedral Venues

West End Gardens
Seating will be provided.  In extreme weather conditions outdoor theatre events will be relocated to the King’s School Theatre. 

College Hall
Seating in this venue is unreserved.  Access is via steps only.  If you have special access requirements please call the ticket office before booking tickets.
